What this trial studies
The CoLive Voice project aims to identify vocal biomarkers associated with chronic diseases by collecting vocal recordings and health data through an international online survey. Participants will complete a detailed health questionnaire and provide five specific vocal recordings, which will then be analyzed using machine learning algorithms to extract key audio features. This approach seeks to enhance diagnosis, risk prediction, and remote monitoring of health outcomes related to chronic conditions. The study leverages digital technologies to gather and analyze data simultaneously, providing a comprehensive view of health through vocal characteristics.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adolescents and adults over 15 years old, with or without existing health conditions.
Not a fit: Patients under 15 years old will not benefit from this study as they are excluded from participation.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to innovative methods for monitoring and diagnosing chronic diseases using vocal biomarkers.
How similar studies have performed: While the use of vocal biomarkers is a novel approach, similar studies in digital health have shown promise in monitoring health outcomes.
