Identifying risk factors for recurring low back pain and its impact on work
Identification of Risk Factors for Recurrence of Low Back Pain and Occupational Repercussions Among Beneficiaries of a Multidisciplinary Follow-up Shared Between Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and Occupational Medicine: a Monocentric Prospective Study

What this trial studies
This observational study focuses on understanding the risk factors that contribute to the recurrence of low back pain (LBP) and its occupational repercussions. It aims to analyze patients who have undergone a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program and assess their likelihood of taking sick leave post-treatment. By identifying these risk factors, the study seeks to tailor care strategies to better meet the needs and expectations of patients suffering from chronic lower back pain. The findings could help improve rehabilitation approaches and reduce the incidence of LBP recurrence.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are men and women over 18 years old with chronic lower back or lumbo-radicular pain lasting more than three months, who are participating in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program.
Not a fit: Patients who may not benefit from this study include those with neurological pathologies, pregnant individuals, and those with a BMI over 35 or with less than three months of chronic pain.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to more effective rehabilitation strategies that reduce the recurrence of low back pain and improve patients' work outcomes.
How similar studies have performed: While this study addresses a common issue in low back pain management, similar studies have shown varying degrees of success in identifying risk factors and improving rehabilitation outcomes.
