What this trial studies
This study investigates the impact of varying levels of physical fatigue on cognitive load and performance during dual-task activities. It aims to assess how cognitive task performance changes as physical fatigue increases. The research explores the relationship between cognitive loading and physical fatigue, considering both psychological and physical factors that influence performance. Participants will engage in tasks under different intensities of physical fatigue to evaluate their cognitive capabilities.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are healthy individuals aged 18 to 30 who are physically fit and willing to participate.
Not a fit: Patients with cognitive impairments, neurological injuries, or mental health conditions may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance understanding of how physical fatigue affects cognitive performance, leading to improved strategies for managing workload in various settings.
How similar studies have performed: While the relationship between physical fatigue and cognitive load has been explored, this specific approach to dual-task performance is relatively novel.
