What this trial studies
This is an observational patient survey led by Blood Cancer United with University of Florida collaboration that collects self-reported fertility and reproductive-history information from adults who received CAR-T cell therapy. Participants complete an online questionnaire about menstrual function, sexual health, pregnancies, sperm/egg preservation, and timing relative to CAR-T treatment. No experimental interventions are given; data will be analyzed to identify patterns and inform clinical guidance. The findings aim to fill gaps in knowledge about CAR-T–related reproductive effects and guide future fertility preservation strategies.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Adults aged 18 or older with any cancer who have received or are currently receiving CAR-T cell therapy are ideal candidates.
Not a fit: People under 18, individuals who have never had CAR-T therapy, and those seeking direct fertility treatment rather than survey participation are unlikely to benefit from this survey.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, results could help clinicians give better fertility counseling and shape preservation options for patients considering or receiving CAR-T therapy.
How similar studies have performed: Specific data on CAR-T effects on fertility are limited, so this survey is relatively novel though fertility impacts of other cancer therapies have been previously studied.
