What this trial studies
This clinical trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Cog-Fun Aging program in assisting older adults experiencing Subjective Cognitive Decline (SCD). Participants will engage in a 10-week intervention that includes weekly sessions focused on understanding SCD and developing strategies to cope with memory difficulties. The study will compare outcomes between those who complete the program and those who do not, assessing improvements in cognitive understanding, strategy use, and emotional well-being related to memory challenges.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are older adults experiencing memory changes who are concerned about their cognitive abilities and can communicate in Hebrew.
Not a fit: Patients with significant health conditions affecting their functioning or those currently in other SCD treatments may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this program could enhance the daily functioning and emotional health of older adults facing memory challenges.
How similar studies have performed: While similar programs have shown promise in improving cognitive strategies and emotional well-being, the specific approach of the Cog-Fun Aging program is relatively novel.
