What this trial studies

This observational study involves a community-based prospective cohort of older residents in China, initiated in 2024. It aims to identify risk factors associated with disability and dementia among individuals aged 60 and older who have lived in their communities for over a year. The study will integrate data from four communities in Beijing, Shenzhen, Haikou, and Hangzhou to create a comprehensive database. The ultimate goal is to develop a risk prediction model for disability and dementia in the elderly Chinese population.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals aged 60 years or older who have lived in their community for more than one year.

Not a fit: Patients who are unable to complete the survey will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters
