What this trial studies
This study investigates the preferences and experiences of cancer patients participating in yoga sessions, either in-person at a studio or online from home. It aims to understand the effects of these different settings on health-related outcomes during oncological treatment. Participants will choose their preferred method of yoga, with sessions occurring weekly for 12 weeks. The study will be conducted at two hospitals in Sweden, focusing on enhancing the integration of yoga into cancer care.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 18 and older who are diagnosed with cancer and undergoing oncological treatment.
Not a fit: Patients with severe cognitive impairments, significant physical disabilities, or those expected to survive less than three months may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve the quality of life and health outcomes for cancer patients through tailored yoga interventions.
