What this trial studies
This research investigates the impact of physical activity on the quality of life of women suffering from endometriosis. It aims to enhance self-perception related to physical abilities and body image through regular exercise, which may lead to improved overall well-being. The study is grounded in the idea that a positive self-concept can result from increased physical activity, thereby potentially alleviating some symptoms associated with endometriosis. Participants will engage in various interventions, including physical activity and analgesic physical therapy, to assess their effects on quality of life.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are menstruating women aged 18 to 55 with a proven diagnosis of endometriosis and moderate pain levels.
Not a fit: Patients with severe endometriosis-related pain or those unable to participate in physical activities may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide women with endometriosis a new therapeutic approach to improve their quality of life through physical activity.
How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have indicated a positive relationship between physical activity and quality of life in similar populations, suggesting this approach may be effective.
