What this trial studies
This research investigates the connections between equanimity, mindfulness, self-compassion, and various mental health outcomes in adults. Participants aged 18 and older will complete self-reported questionnaires at two different time points to assess these relationships. The study also aims to validate two new measurement scales, the Equanimity Scale and the Sussex-Oxford Compassion for the Self Scale, specifically within the Hong Kong context. By analyzing the data collected, the research seeks to provide insights into how these psychological constructs influence mental health.
