What this trial studies
This observational study investigates the risk factors associated with coronary heart disease (CHD) in young individuals in Nantong city. By conducting multi-center research, the study aims to identify the contributing factors and incidence rates of CHD among this demographic. The investigators will also perform long-term follow-ups on young patients diagnosed with CHD to understand the factors leading to poor prognosis. The ultimate goal is to fill existing gaps in research and implement early interventions to enhance the quality of life and survival rates of affected patients.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are young individuals diagnosed with coronary heart disease and confirmed by coronary angiography.
Not a fit: Patients who are unwilling to sign informed consent or comply with follow-up requirements may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved early interventions and management strategies for young patients with coronary heart disease.
How similar studies have performed: While there may be limited research specifically targeting young patients with CHD, similar studies on risk factors in broader populations have shown promising results.
