What this trial studies
This study investigates the effects of structured and aerobic exercise programs on individuals suffering from chronic tension-type headaches (TTH). It aims to assess how these exercise interventions can alleviate pain severity, improve quality of life, and reduce associated symptoms such as depression. Participants will engage in a tailored exercise regimen designed to address the underlying causes of TTH, including muscle tension and poor posture. The study will include individuals diagnosed with chronic TTH, following specific inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure safety and efficacy.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals diagnosed with chronic tension-type headache who meet the inclusion criteria.
Not a fit: Patients with cardiovascular diseases, neurological disorders, or those who are pregnant may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly improve the quality of life for patients suffering from chronic tension-type headaches.
How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown positive outcomes with exercise interventions for headache management, suggesting this approach has potential based on existing evidence.
