Examining how physical activity affects brain health through the glymphatic system
Physical Activity, Sleep and Brain Health Based on the Glymphatic System

What this trial studies
This observational study investigates the relationship between physical activity and brain health in young adults by analyzing neurohydrodynamics and glymphatic activity. Participants will engage in a short exercise routine while wearing a Glymphometer, a device that monitors brain fluid dynamics. The study aims to collect data at two different times: before and during the exercise to assess changes in glymphatic function. The findings could provide insights into the role of lifestyle factors in preventing neurological diseases.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are university students who are enrolled in a bachelor's degree program and can provide informed consent.
Not a fit: Patients under 18 years old or those with cognitive or sensory difficulties may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved strategies for maintaining brain health and preventing neurodegenerative diseases through lifestyle modifications.
How similar studies have performed: While the glymphatic system is a relatively new area of research, similar studies have shown promising results in understanding brain health and the impact of physical activity.
Eligibility criteria
