What this trial studies
This observational study aims to explore the relationship between dietary habits and glycemic responses in children aged 6-18 with cystic fibrosis. It will assess how different diets impact blood sugar levels and inflammatory markers, which are crucial for managing the condition. Participants will have their general information and anthropometric measurements recorded, and their dietary intake will be monitored. The study seeks to provide insights that could improve dietary recommendations for this patient population.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are children aged 6-18 with cystic fibrosis who have normal glucose tolerance.
Not a fit: Patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes or those on specific medications may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved dietary guidelines that enhance glycemic control and reduce inflammation in children with cystic fibrosis.
How similar studies have performed: While there have been studies on diet and glycemic response in other populations, this specific focus on children with cystic fibrosis is relatively novel.
Eligibility criteria

Inclusion Criteria: * A child with cystic fibrosis between the ages of 6 and 18 who had normal glucose tolerance and volunteered to participate in the study will be included in the study.
