What this trial studies

This study aims to assess the differences in subjective and objective fitting of soft contact lenses that vary in sagittal height among participants. It involves fitting subjects with five different soft lenses and conducting necessary examinations to determine the best fit. The study focuses on individuals with myopia and seeks to enhance lens comfort and effectiveness. Participants will be monitored for their experiences and lens performance throughout the fitting process.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults over 18 years old with myopia who do not have any active eye diseases.

Not a fit: Patients with active eye diseases or those who cannot wear soft lenses due to eyelid issues may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved comfort and effectiveness of soft contact lenses for myopic patients.

How similar studies have performed: While there may be studies on contact lens fitting, this specific approach focusing on sagittal height is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested.
