What this trial studies

This observational study aims to systematically assess the nutritional status of patients who have undergone hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University. Evaluations will occur at multiple time points, including before the conditioning regimen and 180 days post-transplantation, focusing on factors such as food intake, physical activity, body composition, and blood biochemistry. Additionally, the study will explore how these nutritional factors may influence the prognosis of the patients.

Not a fit: Patients who are unwilling to participate or do not meet the age criteria may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved nutritional management strategies that enhance recovery and outcomes for patients after stem cell transplantation.

How similar studies have performed: While there may be studies on nutrition in transplant patients, this specific approach focusing on comprehensive nutritional evaluation post-transplantation is relatively novel.
