What this trial studies

This study assesses the reliability and validity of the Glittre Activities of Daily Living Test specifically for children and adolescents diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). It aims to understand how chronic inflammation impacts their daily activities and overall well-being. By involving multidisciplinary health professionals, the study seeks to identify factors that limit these activities and improve the quality of life for affected individuals. Participants will be children aged 8-18 who have been diagnosed with JIA, and their experiences will be evaluated through structured assessments.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are children and adolescents aged 8-18 who have been diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.

Not a fit: Patients with advanced organ diseases, neurological conditions, or those who have undergone major orthopedic surgery may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved assessment tools that enhance the management of daily living activities for children with JIA.

How similar studies have performed: While this approach is focused on a specific assessment tool, similar studies have shown the importance of evaluating daily living activities in chronic conditions, indicating potential for success.
