What this trial studies

This clinical trial evaluates the effects of Coenzyme Q10 and L-Carnitine on semen parameters in men suffering from unexplained infertility due to idiopathic oligospermia. It is a placebo-controlled interventional study designed to assess whether these supplements can improve sperm quality and overall fertility. The study aims to provide insights into alternative treatments for male infertility, particularly for those with no identifiable cause. Participants will be monitored for changes in semen parameters throughout the trial.

Not a fit: Patients with active genital infections, ejaculatory dysfunction, or azoospermia may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this treatment could improve fertility outcomes for men with unexplained infertility.
