Evaluating a scoring system for heart failure outcomes

The Association Between Visual Echocardiographic Scoring System and Clinical Outcomes in Patient With Acute Decompensated Heart Failure

Universitas Diponegoro · NCT06586008

What this trial studies

This study evaluates the relationship between a visual echocardiographic scoring system and clinical outcomes in patients with acute decompensated heart failure. Researchers will analyze secondary data collected from hospital registries, including demographic information, clinical presentations, laboratory results, and echocardiographic findings. The data will be processed using IBM SPSS Statistics v26 to determine the association between the scoring system and patient outcomes.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are patients aged 18 to 70 with a history of heart failure and reduced ejection fraction (LVEF <40%).

Not a fit: Patients with pulmonary hypertension, acute de novo heart failure, significant valvular heart disease, or poor echocardiographic images may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve the assessment and management of patients with acute decompensated heart failure.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have explored echocardiographic scoring systems, but the specific association evaluated in this study is less commonly tested.
