This project aims to improve the intrinsic capacities of elderly individuals with mild cognitive impairment by implementing innovative activities based on the Montessori approach in a rural agricultural setting. Participants will engage in personalized therapeutic activities such as horticulture, pet therapy, and sensory laboratories, designed to stimulate cognitive and motor skills while promoting a healthy lifestyle. The study focuses on creating a supportive environment that encourages social interaction between different generations, thereby enhancing the overall well-being of participants and their families.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are older adults diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment who can participate in social and therapeutic activities.
Not a fit: Patients with severe cognitive impairment or those unable to participate in physical activities may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly improve cognitive function and quality of life for older adults with mild cognitive impairment.
