What this trial studies
This study investigates how evening snacks and pre-breakfast meals influence sleep quality, heart rate variability (HRV), and stress markers in healthy males. It focuses on the body's circadian rhythms and their impact on physiological processes, including hormone levels and heart health. Participants will consume specific snacks and meals at designated times, and various health markers will be monitored to assess the effects. The research aims to fill a gap in understanding the relationship between dietary choices and sleep-related health outcomes.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are healthy males without any comorbidities or diagnosed sleep disorders.
Not a fit: Patients with comorbidities, obesity, or diagnosed insomnia may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide insights into dietary interventions that improve sleep quality and cardiovascular health.
How similar studies have performed: While there is limited research on this specific approach, studies have shown that dietary choices can significantly impact sleep and heart health.
