What this trial studies
This study evaluates the effectiveness of a digital rehabilitation program using the MORA app for bedridden patients in a hospital setting. It involves 20 adult participants who will follow a personalized exercise regimen delivered through the app, performing exercises twice daily for two weeks. The program aims to improve physical function and facilitate recovery for patients with limited mobility due to ICU acquired weakness. Safety and effectiveness will be monitored through assessments conducted before, one week, and two weeks after the intervention.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adult patients aged 19 and older who are bedridden with a Functional Ambulatory Category score of 3 or below.
Not a fit: Patients with significant cognitive impairments, severe pain, or biomechanical instability may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this program could significantly enhance recovery and physical function in bedridden patients.
How similar studies have performed: While digital rehabilitation approaches are emerging, this specific application for bedridden patients is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested.
