What this trial studies

This clinical trial aims to investigate how different dietary compositions influence food intake rhythms, appetite regulation, and energy expenditure. Participants will undergo two field-based dietary interventions and two inpatient stays, during which they will consume standard meals and provide various biological samples. The study seeks to understand the connection between diet and the circadian system to develop evidence-based dietary interventions for obesity management.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 18-45 with a BMI between 18.5 and 29.9 who do not have any acute or chronic medical conditions.

Not a fit: Patients with significant medical conditions, food allergies, or those on specific diets may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to effective dietary strategies for weight management and obesity prevention.

How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown promising results in understanding the relationship between diet and circadian rhythms, but this specific approach is relatively novel.
