What this trial studies
This observational study evaluates the effectiveness of a multidisciplinary group known as the Evolutionary Tumor Board (ETB) in creating therapeutic strategies for patients who have no curative options available. The ETB will assess individual patient cases and recommend tailored treatment approaches based on their unique circumstances. Participants must have a life expectancy of more than three months and be willing to consider the ETB's recommendations while allowing for ongoing clinical data collection.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are patients considered likely incurable with a life expectancy greater than three months and an ECOG performance status of 0-2.
Not a fit: Patients who are not willing to consider new therapeutic strategies or those with a life expectancy of less than three months may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could provide new therapeutic options for patients facing incurable diseases.
How similar studies have performed: While this approach is innovative, similar multidisciplinary strategies have shown promise in other studies, suggesting potential for success.
