What this trial studies

This observational study aims to identify factors associated with ovarian and endometrial cancer in Indonesia and create artificial intelligence-based screening tools to predict the risk of these cancers. The study will be conducted in two stages: first, a cohort study to identify potential predictors, and second, the development of point-of-care testing using an AI model to assess cancer occurrence. Data will be collected from women undergoing gynecological assessments, focusing on demographic, clinical, and laboratory predictors. The ultimate goal is to enhance screening performance with high sensitivity and specificity.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are women experiencing gynecological symptoms or those undergoing routine gynecological examinations.

Not a fit: Patients who are unable to undergo serial gynecological follow-up may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved early detection of ovarian and endometrial cancers, potentially saving lives through timely intervention.

How similar studies have performed: While there have been studies exploring AI in cancer screening, this specific approach focusing on ovarian and endometrial cancers in Indonesia is relatively novel.
