Use of Hyaluronic Acid-enriched Transfer Medium in Women Undergoing Single Blastocyst Transfer : a Multicenter, Randomized Controlled Trial

Not applicable Interventional Northwest Women's and Children's Hospital, Xi'an, Shaanxi · NCT06492785

What this trial studies

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a high concentration Hyaluronic Acid transfer medium (EmbryoGlue®) compared to a lower concentration medium (G2 medium) in improving live birth rates during single fresh and frozen blastocyst transfers. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either medium in a controlled manner, ensuring that the allocation is concealed from both couples and clinicians involved. The study will include cycles using autologous oocytes and will not impose age restrictions on participants. The outcomes will be assessed after the completion of data collection.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates include women undergoing single fresh or frozen blastocyst transfers using their own eggs.

Not a fit: Patients with uterine anatomical anomalies or untreated hydrosalpinx may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance live birth rates for women undergoing single blastocyst transfers.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have explored the use of Hyaluronic Acid in embryo transfer, showing promising results, but this specific comparison is novel.
