What this trial studies
This clinical trial aims to compare the effects of Static Stretching versus Post Facilitation Stretch of the Iliopsoas muscle, combined with core stability exercises, on individuals suffering from Non-Specific Low Back Pain. Participants aged 30-50 years will be randomly assigned to one of the two stretching techniques, and their pain levels, physical function, and range of motion will be assessed before and after the intervention. The study will utilize various measurement tools, including a numeric pain rating scale and goniometers, to evaluate outcomes. Informed consent will be obtained from all participants prior to data collection.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 30-50 years with Non-Specific Low Back Pain lasting at least 3 months.
Not a fit: Patients with specific causes of low back pain or those with systemic or neurological disorders may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide effective stretching techniques to alleviate low back pain and improve physical function.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown varying success with stretching techniques for low back pain, but this specific comparison is relatively novel.
