What this trial studies
This observational study aims to analyze the hormonal environment of egg follicles in women who have undergone autotransplantation of frozen ovarian tissue for fertility preservation. By examining these follicles, the study seeks to understand the conditions that may affect fertility outcomes in these patients. Participants will be women aged 18 and older who have had this procedure and are currently receiving fertility treatment at the Fertility Clinic Regional Hospital Skive. The study will involve monitoring and characterizing the hormonal profiles associated with the transplanted ovarian tissue.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are women aged 18 and older who have had frozen and later autotransplanted ovarian tissue for fertility preservation.
Not a fit: Patients who are undergoing fertility treatment but have not received autotransplanted ovarian tissue for fertility preservation will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide insights that enhance fertility preservation techniques and improve outcomes for women facing infertility.
How similar studies have performed: While similar studies have explored aspects of fertility preservation, this specific approach focusing on hormonal characterization of autotransplanted ovarian tissue is relatively novel.
