What this trial studies

This study investigates the effectiveness of cash payments and counseling in promoting smoking cessation among pregnant women. It aims to enroll up to 15 participants who are currently smoking and between 15 to 23 weeks pregnant. Participants will receive counseling sessions twice a week and can earn cash rewards for maintaining low carbon monoxide levels. The study includes surveys at various stages of pregnancy and postpartum to evaluate smoking status and the impact of the interventions.
