What this trial studies

This study evaluates the reliability of transabdominal intestinal ultrasound (IUS) as a point-of-care test for assessing disease activity in patients with Crohn's disease. It aims to establish inter-observer agreement on various parameters related to the disease, which will help in defining transmural healing and applying IUS consistently in treatment outcome assessments. By doing so, the study seeks to ensure comparability between future studies involving Crohn's disease.
