What this trial studies
This observational study aims to evaluate anxiety, depression, sleep quality, and overall quality of life in patients diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). It will compare these factors between SLE patients and healthy subjects, while also examining the relationship between psychological well-being and disease activity. Clinical evaluations will include comprehensive laboratory tests and psychological assessments using standardized scales. The study seeks to provide insights into how SLE affects mental health and quality of life.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus according to the SLICC criteria.
Not a fit: Patients with evidence of end-organ failures or a history of psychological disorders may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance understanding of the psychological impacts of SLE, leading to improved patient care and support.
