What this trial studies
This observational study focuses on aggressive fibromatosis of the abdominal wall, a fibrous tumor that is challenging to remove completely due to its invasive nature. By retrospectively analyzing patient data and molecular characteristics from previous surgeries, the study aims to explore the clinicopathological features and prognosis of this condition. Additionally, it investigates the impact of postoperative outcomes on patients' quality of life through follow-up assessments. Statistical methods will be employed to summarize and compare data, providing insights into recurrence and survival factors.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are patients who have undergone surgical treatment for invasive fibroma of the abdominal wall and have complete clinical data.
Not a fit: Patients who cannot cooperate with the project implementation or have cognitive dysfunction may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance understanding of aggressive fibromatosis and improve patient management and quality of life post-surgery.
How similar studies have performed: While there is limited literature on this specific condition, similar studies on fibromatosis have shown promising results in understanding tumor characteristics and patient outcomes.
