What this trial studies
This observational study aims to identify the determinants of trauma and stress among emergency medical personnel, particularly focusing on the prevalence of PTSD. By analyzing occupational workloads and categorizing traumatic stimuli, the study seeks to enhance therapeutic protocols, including exposure therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Data will be collected through interviews, psychological scales, and questionnaires from several hundred medical professionals across Poland, Ukraine, Portugal, and Spain. The findings may also explore the potential use of virtual reality technology in treatment solutions.
