What this trial studies

This study tests an online video-based intervention called One Talk at a Time (OTAAT) aimed at improving racial-ethnic socialization among parents and youth. It involves a randomized control trial design where parent-youth dyads will be assessed at four time points over a year. The intervention includes 11 short videos designed to enhance parental skills and confidence in discussing race and ethnicity, while also aiming to improve youth coping mechanisms and psychosocial outcomes. Inclusion Criteria:

* Parent of a child between the ages of 11 and 13
* Parental race/ethnicity either of East Asian, African American, Latinx (Central American) background
* Both parents are from the same pan-ethnic group
