What this trial studies

This observational study aims to enhance physical activity among adult survivors of childhood cancer by adapting existing exercise video content originally designed for older adults. Participants, aged 18-39 and enrolled in the St. Jude Lifetime Cohort, will provide feedback on these exercise videos to ensure they meet the preferences and needs of childhood cancer survivors. The goal is to create a tailored remote exercise intervention that encourages these individuals to engage in physical activity at home. The study will utilize interviews to gather insights from participants about their experiences and preferences regarding the exercise videos.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adult survivors of childhood cancer aged 18-39 who are low active and have internet access.

Not a fit: Patients who are unable to speak, read, or understand English will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved physical activity levels and overall health for childhood cancer survivors.

How similar studies have performed: While this approach is innovative in adapting exercise interventions specifically for childhood cancer survivors, similar studies have shown success in tailoring health interventions to specific populations.
