What this trial studies

This clinical trial evaluates the effectiveness of the Hopeful and Healthy Living (HHL) program, a novel psychosocial intervention designed for adults over 50 with serious mental illness. The HHL intervention combines social skills training and cognitive self-management strategies to enhance social connections and promote healthy lifestyle activities. Participants will be compared to a control group receiving treatment as usual (TAU) to assess improvements in perceived social support, loneliness, and overall psychosocial functioning over a 12-month period.
