What this trial studies
This clinical trial aims to provide two virtual interventions to Alaska Native youth aged 14 to 24 who have been hospitalized due to suicidal attempts, ideation, or related risk behaviors. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the Tools for Life intervention or a combination of Tools for Life and Motivational Interviewing Social Network (MISN). The study includes follow-up assessments at 3, 6, and 12 months to evaluate the effectiveness of these interventions in promoting cultural connectivity and support from social networks. The interventions will be delivered by a wellness team of Alaska Native community members, including behavioral health aides and Elders.
