What this trial studies

This clinical trial aims to determine if a virtual task can effectively reduce emotional distress in college students. Participants will engage in a virtual intervention designed to enhance emotional processing, which will be compared to a control task that is not expected to impact distress levels. The study will involve college students completing the tasks over three days within a week, followed by surveys assessing their well-being before and approximately six weeks after the intervention. The focus is particularly on male students, who may face unique barriers to traditional therapeutic approaches.
