What this trial studies

This study examines the effects of vibratory massage therapy on individuals suffering from non-specific low back pain. It employs a randomized controlled design, enrolling volunteers aged 18-65 who have experienced back pain for at least three months. Participants will be divided into two groups: one receiving vibratory massage therapy and the other receiving standard treatment methods. The effectiveness of the interventions will be assessed through various measures of quality of life, pain levels, range of motion, and muscle activity before and after the treatment period of eight weeks.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 18-65 with non-specific low back pain lasting more than three months.

Not a fit: Patients with structural pathologies, spinal deformities, or those unable to cooperate may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this therapy could provide a non-invasive and effective treatment option for patients with low back pain.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown positive outcomes with similar vibratory massage therapies, suggesting potential effectiveness.
