What this trial studies

This study aims to validate the Italian version of the Assessment of Life Habits 4.0 (LIFE-H) scale, which measures participation in children aged 5 to 13 years with disabilities. The LIFE-H scale is a comprehensive tool that assesses various life habits across 12 domains, including communication, mobility, and social roles. By translating and culturally adapting this scale for the Italian context, the study seeks to provide a reliable instrument for evaluating participation in pediatric rehabilitation. Caregivers of children with physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities will be involved in the assessment process.

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are caregivers of children aged 5 to 13 years with physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities who speak Italian.

Not a fit: Patients who do not speak Italian or whose caregivers cannot provide informed consent will not benefit from this study.
