What this trial studies
This study aims to validate the French translation of the Affinity for Technology Interaction (ATI) questionnaire, which assesses individuals' tendencies to engage with technology. The research will involve a cross-sectional survey targeting both the general adult population and adults who have experienced a stroke. Participants will complete the questionnaire online or on paper, and the data collected will help identify patients who are more likely to benefit from tele-rehabilitation. The study will recruit participants through various channels, including a university clinic and social media.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults over 18 who have suffered a single stroke and can communicate in French.
Not a fit: Patients with severe comprehension problems or those unable to complete the questionnaire may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance the identification of stroke patients who are more likely to engage with tele-rehabilitation, potentially improving their recovery outcomes.
How similar studies have performed: While this specific approach is novel in the context of stroke rehabilitation, similar studies have successfully validated technology interaction questionnaires in other populations.
