What this trial studies
This study evaluates the effectiveness of multi-parameter monitoring devices in improving the quality of life for elderly individuals. Participants will wear noninvasive devices that track vital parameters such as heart rate, physical activity, sleep quality, and stress levels. The study focuses on the relationship between physical and mental well-being, integrating technology with the participants' living environments to provide personalized feedback and activities. The aim is to enhance the overall well-being of the elderly beyond just the absence of disease.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are healthy individuals aged 60 years and older who can provide informed consent.
Not a fit: Patients with chronic diseases, cardiovascular issues, dementia, depression, or psychotic symptoms may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly improve the quality of life for elderly patients by providing personalized health insights and interventions.
How similar studies have performed: While the use of wearable technology in health monitoring is gaining traction, this specific approach focusing on the elderly and the body-mind relationship is relatively novel.
