What this trial studies
This observational study aims to utilize retrospective rehabilitation medical data to create digital twins that can enhance the evaluation of motor and neurological functions in patients with stroke and other degenerative conditions. By analyzing medical records from healthy subjects and stroke patients who underwent imaging at Bundang CHA Hospital, the study seeks to develop effective ICT application protocols for improving kinematic and neurological functions. The focus is on leveraging technology to predict disease progression and optimize treatment programs based on individual patient data.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include healthy individuals and stroke patients who had imaging examinations at Bundang CHA Hospital between January 2010 and December 2021.
Not a fit: Patients who do not meet the inclusion criteria, such as those without relevant imaging examinations or those with conditions outside the study focus, may not benefit.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could lead to more personalized and effective rehabilitation strategies for patients with stroke and related conditions.
How similar studies have performed: While the concept of using digital twins in healthcare is emerging, this specific application in rehabilitation for stroke and degenerative diseases is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested in prior studies.
