What this trial studies

This study aims to improve the prediction of treatment efficacy for lung cancer patients undergoing targeted and immunotherapy. It utilizes dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) images taken before and after the first treatment cycle, combined with clinical and pathological data, to assess how well these therapies work. By analyzing these images, the study seeks to provide more accurate predictions that could guide treatment decisions for patients with lung cancer.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are lung cancer patients aged 18 to 75 with tumors larger than 2 cm.

Not a fit: Patients with MRI contraindications or those who cannot tolerate gadolinium contrast agents may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could lead to more personalized and effective treatment plans for lung cancer patients.

How similar studies have performed: While the use of MRI in treatment prediction is explored, this specific approach utilizing DCE-MRI in lung cancer is relatively novel.
