What this trial studies
This study aims to enhance patient outcomes by utilizing Magnetic Resonance-guided adaptive radiotherapy (MRgART) with an Integrated Magnetic Resonance Linear Accelerator (MRL). Participants receiving radiotherapy will undergo additional MR scans during their treatment planning to allow for more precise targeting of their cancer. They will also complete quality of life questionnaires to assess the impact of this approach. The study focuses on understanding the benefits of MR-guided techniques in cancer treatment.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 18 and older diagnosed with cancer who are scheduled to receive MR-guided adaptive radiotherapy.
Not a fit: Patients under 18 years old will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could lead to more effective and personalized cancer treatment, improving patient outcomes.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise with MR-guided radiotherapy approaches, indicating potential for success in this area.
