Using Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting to Improve Endometrial Cancer Imaging
MARF-E- Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting in the Imaging of Endometrial Cancer
This study is testing a new imaging technique called Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting to see if it can help doctors better understand endometrial cancer and predict patient outcomes without needing surgery.

What this trial studies
This study investigates the use of Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (MRF) to enhance imaging techniques for patients with endometrial cancer. It aims to correlate MRF parameters with molecular risk group classifications, allowing for risk stratification without the need for surgery. Additionally, the study will explore the relationship between MRF findings and patient prognosis, focusing on disease-free survival and overall survival rates.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include women over 18 years old with biopsy-proven endometrial cancer.
Not a fit: Patients with a history of other malignancies or concurrent cancers may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could lead to more accurate risk assessments and improved treatment planning for patients with endometrial cancer.
How similar studies have performed: While the use of MRF in cancer imaging is a relatively novel approach, preliminary studies have shown promise in other cancer types, suggesting potential for success in this context.
