What this trial studies
This study focuses on the application of an 'Internet + nursing' program tailored for patients suffering from hip fragility fractures, which are common in the elderly due to osteoporosis. The intervention aims to enhance postoperative care through continuous nursing support and education, addressing gaps in rehabilitation guidance and self-care capabilities. Patients will receive routine nursing care supplemented by digital resources to improve their recovery outcomes. The study emphasizes the importance of standardized management for hip fractures to reduce complications and improve quality of life.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 and older who have been diagnosed with a closed hip fragility fracture and are scheduled for surgical intervention.
Not a fit: Patients with psychiatric or neurological disorders, multiple fractures, or terminal illnesses are unlikely to benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly improve recovery rates and quality of life for patients with hip fragility fractures.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in using digital health interventions for improving patient outcomes, suggesting that this approach may be effective.
