What this trial studies

This multicentre cohort study focuses on the application of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for treating early gastrointestinal neoplasia. Data will be collected from various centers regarding en bloc resection, curative resection, R0 resection rates, and any complications or adverse events over a two-year follow-up period. Additionally, demographic information and details about the size and location of the lesions will be documented to better understand the outcomes associated with ESD.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 and older who are undergoing endoscopic submucosal dissection for early gastrointestinal neoplasia.

Not a fit: Patients under the age of 18 or those unable to provide informed consent will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve treatment outcomes for patients with early gastrointestinal neoplasia by providing insights into the effectiveness and safety of endoscopic submucosal dissection.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promising results with endoscopic submucosal dissection for early gastrointestinal neoplasia, indicating that this approach is supported by prior evidence.
