What this trial studies
This observational pilot study aims to analyze the feasibility of integrating motion and structural data in patients with ventricular arrhythmia using artificial intelligence. It will utilize preprocedural contrast-enhanced cardiac computed tomography and 3D transthoracic echocardiography to better characterize the arrhythmogenic substrate. The goal is to enhance the planning of stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation therapy by incorporating motion data into the volume demarcation process.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults aged 18 and older who require catheter ablation for ventricular arrhythmias and have an indication for preprocedural cardiac imaging.
Not a fit: Patients with a platelet count below 100,000 cells/mm3 or those with a BMI outside the range of 18 to 45 kg/m2 may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could lead to more precise and effective treatments for patients suffering from ventricular arrhythmias.
How similar studies have performed: While this approach is innovative, similar studies utilizing AI for arrhythmia management have shown promising results, indicating potential for success.
