What this trial studies
This study evaluates the effectiveness of 68Ga-NOTA Evans Blue (68Ga-NEB) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) in diagnosing and assessing the efficacy of treatments for lymphatic system related diseases. Participants, aged 18 to 80, with suspected or diagnosed lymphatic conditions will undergo 68Ga-NEB PET/CT scans. The study aims to compare the diagnostic sensitivity of this imaging technique with traditional methods like 99mTc-dextran. Anomalies will be detected through both visual and quantitative analysis of the imaging results.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults aged 18 to 80 with suspected or diagnosed lymphatic system related diseases who can provide informed consent.
Not a fit: Patients who are pregnant or unable to provide informed consent will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could enhance the accuracy of diagnosing lymphatic system diseases and improve treatment efficacy assessments.
How similar studies have performed: While this approach is innovative, similar imaging techniques have shown promise in other studies, indicating potential for success.
