Understanding the significance of rotator cuff disease
Establishing the Clinical Significance Values of Scales Used in Rotator Cuff Disease

What this trial studies
This observational study aims to gather insights about patients with rotator cuff disease by evaluating various shoulder assessment questionnaires. It seeks to determine the minimal clinically important difference, substantial clinical benefit, and patient-acceptable symptomatic state values for these questionnaires. The study will involve exercise interventions to assess outcomes in rotator cuff patients. By analyzing these metrics, the study hopes to enhance understanding of patient experiences and treatment effectiveness.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults over 18 years old who have been diagnosed with rotator cuff disease.
Not a fit: Patients with other shoulder pathologies, neurological, rheumatological, or oncological diseases, or those who have had previous shoulder surgeries may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide valuable benchmarks for assessing treatment outcomes in rotator cuff disease.
How similar studies have performed: While similar studies have explored rotator cuff assessments, this specific approach to establishing clinical significance is relatively novel.
